Upstairs there are five double rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Two of these have twin beds and the bathrooms are up a few steps. Two rooms have queen size double beds and ensuite bathrooms with shower in the bath, and the fifth room has a king size bed which can be split into twin 90cm wide beds, if required. This room has a bathroom with shower unit.
There is also a large cosy sitting room upstairs, with beautiful original beams, and comfortable sofas in which to relax and read. There is a TV for customers with satellite connection to BBC, ITV and various other UK channels as well as a DVD player with a choice of films. All of the upstairs area of the house is carpeted with sea grass.
Downstairs there is another cosy sitting room with comfortable sofas , a log fire stove, and beautiful black slate floors which opens onto the dining room where breakfast and dinners are served in the colder months of the year.
A large terrace facing South and shaded by ancient grape vines serves as the sitting and dining area in the warmer months, or as a very pleasant sunny place to sit and enjoy the view, even in the colder months.
The Posada offers breakfast, included in the price of the room, and candle lit dinners.. We offer a menu of ‘tapas’ style home cooking using local produce from our vegetable garden and orchard, whenever possible. We do our utmost to accommodate vegetarians or guests with special dietary needs.
The house is well heated by two wood burning stoves that supply all the rooms with hot air. In addition there is an electric radiator in every room and one of the rooms has its own wood-burning stove.
In summer we provide electric fans in all the rooms, though the mountain breeze brings cool air after sundown
